City Player vs Football League Android App

Anybody got either or both of these?

I'm in a quandary. I'm tempted by both but can only really afford one.

City Player is £18.99 a year (right?) and offers, as I understand it, match day commentary, extra interviews, promo stuff and extended highlights all done from the comfort of your PC or laptop.

The Football League Android App is £1.49 a month and offers similar, albeit from what I gather a stripped down version of the above. So, probably only short highlights (as per Sky) and a few basic interviews. However, I could feasibly watch that anywhere I can get wifi (which with the expanding TFL wifi network, could be on the train to and from work).

Hmmm anybody had experience of either or both and can share their thoughts on them, good or bad?

Yeah I've got both Arkay. The Football League app is basically city player in an app and as far as I can is not skimmed down at all, still get all the same media.

Rather cheekily though I think is that you still have to pay the £1.49 a month even if you are a subscriber to city player.

Reeeeeaaaally? Hmmm, presumably you can't log in to the City Player using the FA login thing though.

Does the FA App do match commentary though?

Yep, does commentary! No, with the app you can't login. You just pay the subscription this seperate system altogether

So, the app is cheaper, I can use it on my mobile and tablet and it does everything the Player does? We might have a winner...
