Trying to manage Birmingham right now is like trying to steer the Titanic, you can't judge Lee Clark for it. All their star players have either jumped ship or are very close to doing so, and unless they find a few million hiding down a sofa somewhere administration is looming fast.
Easy to forget it could of been us in that position too, huh?

Reported by the BBC a few days ago:

....which was followed by this yesterday:

The BBC are now saying that Dundee Utd have confirmed that Houston is to leave at the end of the season. But I expect it's all coincidence.

I think Shearer would have jumped at the job, if there had been a hint of the type of money that has been made available this year. He didn't fancy taking it initially on a tight budget an a decimated squad........fair play to Malky, it is easy to overlook the wonders he performed last season, with b*gger-all material to work with at the off.

Looks like we have a good'n in Malky. I can however see him disappearing off for the Liverpool job if we have a first successful campaign in the PL. A la Rogers.
Maybe not, depending on the money continuing to be made available to him. My tip has always been that Malky will eventually go to Everton, when Moyes takes over from Sir Alex.............
