Well, gateaux is a French word and Vietnam was previously French Indo China, so yes, definitely racist undertones, but we can let it slide as it's only the Froggies.........

As an aside I noticed in Asda the other day that they sell Black Forest Gateau?? Presumably they are concerned their customers won't buy "Gattox"???
