Not today. Today is Mr and Mrs Arkay's Christmas as Mr Arkay has to work tomorrow. I was teetotal for seven months until my birthday two weeks ago, now I'm two sheets to the wind on one glass of Prosecco based fucks bizz. I am one CHEAP date these days. Life is good.

Thanks, it could be far worse and I really don't mean to appear to rub it in..........but I firmly believe that anything is possible if you put your mind to it.

Mrs TDA & I put in a lot of hard work, which, coupled with what I call a stroke or two of good fortune, but which the wife says were bold business decisions, gave us an option to have a complete lifestyle change at an early age.

The only downside to life out here is the lack of serious football banter.

Plenty of proper plastic (mainly Man Utd & Chelsea) followers who know fk -all about football, but recently I "outed" a genuine Coventry City supporter. He let slip that he actually subscribes to their Player, but was made up to learn that he was not alone in being hunched over a PC listening to his heroes of a Saturday afternoon.

Been winding him up mercilessly about Gunnarsson & Turner recently, but I now also look to see how the Sky Blues are doing. They certainly shouldn't be where they find themselves these days........
