I believe we shouldve won the game alot earlier than when we did,,, sounds as though we was pressing straight off but couldnt score... i missed the 2nd red card.. can someone tell me what happened?

Their player had already been booked and got a 2nd for kicking the ball away when a decision didn't go their way. Poor discipline. Yes we started the 2nd half well and I think we would've got a draw 11 v 11.
It was a rather strange performance, we just didnt know how to play against 9 men. I thought it was the wrong decision to put on Rudy when we did, I mean we had 2 extra players so surely we should have been working them on the floor more and then use Rudy as an option if we still needed a goal with 10 mins to go.
I also thought it was a strange decision to bring on Gunnar as Conway would surely have been a more appropriate replacement for Smith. But he got the winner, so can't really complain.
It was a strange old night, but we got the 3 points, which is the main thing!

Cheers Caldi...
I did think also it was strange to bring gunnar on.. but as u say he got the winner so its all that matters... so bottom line scrappy game... but ill quite happily take 2-1 scrappy wins if it means we get 3pts and get promoted!

I've decided to stop thinking about it. If I carry on pondering why it took us so long to break down ten men (and then worse nine), why we couldn't deliver a cross to save our lives, all our missed chances, I start to feel a little bit sick. Therefore, I'm closing it in my mind as we won. It wasnt pretty, but lets forget about that.

Well, at the end of it all it's points that count. I'd rather we played badly and won, than played well and lost.
The Norwich comparison is quite apt as I don't really remember them setting the division alight with their football (despite the entertaining game at CCS). They just knew how to turn a draw into a win, which if we had learned how to do last season we probably would've gone up as Champions.
