He said it was a delicate matter.

Purely speculation but maybe McPhail has decided to call it quits whilst he's undergoing treatment? He's probably decided he'll be too old when he's recovered fully but still young enough at the moment to be able to claim an insurance payout....

Not sure who else would qualify as delicate if they were to leave...

Well this gets stranger. He reckons there's another two due to possibly sign and a delicate announcement on a player going? Really confused now!

Doesn't Noone play on the left? Has he been signed to replace somebody?
Was Bellamy really injured last week, or was there another problem?
In my opinion it can only be Bellamy or possibly MacPhail. But if it was MacPhail would the word leaving be used?
Interesting!

Thinking about it, could be in exchange for Lewis Dunk...he's England u-20 squad, 31 appearances last year, only 20 years old, being tracked by a few clubs...and he's a central DEFENDER! Not a winger!

The plot thickens Player on the way out 4228682415

The interpretations here make delicate sound like "going to make the fans riot in the streets". I hope not. I'll put my money on MacPhail, sadly.

I'd be gutted if it was Bellars, but it would make sense that we were able to bring in Noone and others if his wages were freed up.

According to this City Gent guy on twitter it isn't MacPhail! It must be Bellamy.

If it's delicate, my assumption is that it could be an off-the-field issue, and Bellamy has had plenty in the past. Gutted if it was him that's going though, but Happy Days you make a good point about the wages being freed up

I just read that. Again, points to Bellers. Fingers crossed it's the Earnie rumour mentioned above...

Don't, just don't. That would require a COMPLETE rethink of my Fantasy Team AND changing the rosters on FIFA12. It just doesn't bear thinking about...
