Looks like tht have bagged themselves a pair of ccfc's in that case.

I'm probably reading far more into it than there actually is but I've always believed that the rebranding has been more than VT's whim and that there was a stadium sponsor lined up.
Ricoh paid £10m in 2005 for a 10 year deal at Coventry so 3 years remain. They've just signed a 3 year partnership with us............
A potential lucrative stadium sponsorship deal would certainly have sweetened the deal for VT to invest more cash. If it requires turning the stadium red and calling it the Ricoh stadium then it makes VT's rebranding more understandable if not palatable ( to some).......
