Doesn't anyone feel they're being manipulated. These big events organised to keep the plebs happy but you can no longer choose what event you want to attend. The police have total control because the Olympic Committee say the event takes precedence over anything else. Who gets the gate money?

I suspect Beckham will kick a flaming football into a goalmouth that will go up in flames whilst rising to wherever the olympic flame will reside. Apparently no one knows (except for the organisers of course and those who installed it who have not been seen since).
