Season 5 has started, watched the first episode last week and I'm now downloading the second episode. When I watched the first episode I had no idea what was going on, it felt like years since season 4!

The first 3 or 4 series of this are on Netflix, I keep meaning to watch them but my wife is put off due to the guy having cancer... is that just a back story and an excuse for his behavious that's pretty much forgotten about after the first episode? Or does it get reet deep and touching loik?

It's drawn out over the series and gets mentioned a lot so you might want to watch it surreptitiously. My spell checker just confirmed that I did not know how to spell surreptitiously without its help. Got me the second time too.

I used to watch this on FX, but they stopped after series 2 for some reason.
