Late last night through this morning, news sources are reporting that the FA has been advised not to investigate or carry out any disciplinary action against Anton Ferdinand for his conduct during the John Terry Incident, in case it stops other Black footballers from coming forward with racism complaints. However, they still feel John Terry should face charges, even though he was found innocent in a court of law of racism and therefore has done no more wrong than Anton.
John Terry is facing a heavy ban because of his foul mouth language towards Anton on the pitch, and I completely agree with that. But Anton should face the exact same thing, not dodge it because the FA worries it could be conceived racist. This isn't a race issue anymore, that was solved days ago. This is now about unacceptable conduct by both players that was openly admitted to in court by both individuals.
If you charge Terry and not Anton, In my opinion John Terry has a very valid argument to say that HE is being racially vindicated, and the FA are the real racists.

The FA want to charge Terry on the basis that he used racist language on the pitch regardless of context. Ferdinand didnt use racist language and that is why he'll face no charges.

Racist language I'm not going to condone, I said that. But in my opinion it's no excuse to ignore everything else that was said. This whole fiasco has been massively embarrassing to English football and if what you say is true the message they are trying to send to fix this is 'you can say whatever you like to other players, as long as its not racist'?
We all saw the court evidence, when their conversation was broken down by lip reading and also the players themselves provided what was said. It's disgusting for the two of them to talk like that, and it's ridiculous that it's presumed it can all be forgotten just because one comment could be seen as racist.
Besides, in that case it was concluded they could not ever prove whether John Terry actually called Anton a black c**t, or whether he said 'do you think I called you a black c**t?'. The latter presumes someone on the pitch had told Terry it was said, and therefore must of used the language themselves, and it could well of been Anton. I'm not saying this is exactly what happened, but displaying the FA have no right deciding it was deliberate use of racial language to offend when the law system itself couldn't.
They should both at the very least face investigation to decide whether the language exchanged was unacceptable. To refuse to look into Anton's involvement at all because it may be sending the wrong message to black footballers, is racist.
