Is it still trading?

In my recollection Reading are a team that we do never do well against.

It seems that their fans are happier with Stam as he is trying to play to the strengths of the squad rather than total football with players who aren't up to it.

I'll be very content with a point, but, so long as the performance is there, I'll be happy.

I thought our recent record against them was pretty decent, but we've won one of the last five I think - a boring 2-0 home win under Slade.

Huntley & Palmer brand was killed off years ago along with Peek Frean’s and several others.

I don't know

Don’t know these companies!

I’ll be more than happy with a point. But we could afford to lose given the points gap

They existed during a time when the humble biscuit was a far more important part of the British diet than it is today. The Unofficial Official Let’s Take The Biscuit Fred.. 635981802

Cleve, how often do you describe a game as ‘must-win’? What is the criteria for a ‘must-win’ in your opinion?!

A game that must not be lost or even drawn, there you have it.
And every game is a must win.
Anything else is a failure.

No more snow forecast, but it's not going to get much warmer. Hopefully the pitch isn't frozen, although I thought most modern grounds had underpitch heating?

Rarity for any Prem or Champ games to be called off these days. Will almost certainly go ahead

Given that Reading have two good wingers in Mo Barrow and Sone Aluko and our Bruno has occasionally had a defensive mare especially away from home, I wonder whether we might see a starting line up like this .....

Etheridge

Peltier Morrison Manga Bennett

Bamba

Paterson Damour Ralls

Bogle Hoilett

Not sure about midfield fitness, but Bryson and or Gunnarsson might well feature at some point, along with Ward, of course.
