I don't think he's any better than Jazz Richards and having got him free, I think we would let him go for a decent fee. However, our only cover would then be Declan John.

Declan John is the only proper left sided cover we have, but Peltier and Connolly have both played at LB.

I think he has filled in there in the past, but wouldn't fancy his defensive abilities against a proper winger over a whole game.

Bennett has a release clause in his contract and is talking to Fulham.

Agreed Mr Canister, if we have any desire to push for promotion then you can't be playing someone like Ralls at left-back. I would be intrigued to see what release clause is in Bennett's contract. If he goes for £4mil+ then that's good going on our part

If he is not committed to City, then take the money. Jazz Richards deserves the start at LB based on performances to date, in any event.
