I think he's so versatile that he would get a lot of game time but not all necessarily up front. Good signing nonetheless I just want to hear the confirmation

£1.4m (possibly more with add-ons) does seem a little steep considering our lack of funds. But I fully trust Warnock - he clearly sees something in him.

We have no idea what the budget is. Our manager is a canny operator and is not going to broadcast figures. £1.6m seems pretty reasonable in today's market.

NW is the man for the job, quietly going about his work, Hoilett, Peltier and Manga resigning is good work. And the likes of Ward having signed so early give cause for optimism. It all sounds a little too professional. Maybe, just maybe, there is a clear plan, Warnocks plan, and the rest of the crew are pulling out all the stops to go in the same direction.
