Peter Løvenkrands?

My typical up with the baby twitter search has popped up an interesting transfer rumour. Peter Løvenkrands, for those that don't know he is a pacey winger/striker who just left Newcastle on a free. What's even more interesting is I'm also hearing if its true, it could be announced as early as Thursday. The man has stated in interviews he doesn't want to leave the premiership though, so we can only hope the money has tempted him?

Nice find! Newcastle would have been a tough team to get in to last season.
Although I don't know much about him - with Løvenkrands on the right & Bellamy on the left, a flexible 4-3-3 formation would work a treat.

Good player on his day and could be a useful addition, but he's 32 so I don't think this will happen.

Depends on his wage demands IMO. He only lost his first team place due to players like Demba Ba and Cisse coming in, and they were some of the most impressive players in the league last season.

If he's cheap, as Rhys pointed out, a wing pairing of him and Bellamy could e devastating.
