Gives him bait to attract the big fish. I for one didn't think he'd manage it. It's far from pretty and you wonder how long the fans with tolerate it.

As it is, this is now a good season.

Will all turn sour next season, doesn't have a long shelf life at any Club.

Probably had a target of achieving Champions League football next year, realised early on that this would be his best bet, so went with it. Can't argue with it really.
Needs to work on the league position next year though, can't see fans being happy finishing behind Liverpool and Man City for too long.
