Probably my most disappointing day watching City. Worse than losing the ECWC semi-final to Hamburg in the last minute.
I'll never forgive Jones bringing on useless Kelvin Etuhu for Bothroyd after ten minutes and leaving Ross McCormack on the bench until the second half.

Even now it hurts... However not as much as the FA Cup Final loss to Pompey, they were poor and for the taking

I allowed myself a foolish moment of weakness in daring to dream when we went ahead, twice. Shan't make that mistake again.

They were...their main attacking threat was OAP Nwankwo Kanu. Their main midfielder was Harry Redknapp's source of bung income, journeyman Nigel Quashie.
Being serious though didn't they also have Lassana Diarra?

Something's are best forgotten, I was angry then and even now it stirs up thoughts of what if. It really was a great opportunity at the big time.
