Strange how the fixtures have worked this season with return games against a couple of clubs quite close together. It does mean that we will be rid of the likes of Brighton & Villa.....better to have to deal with them now, rather than in a do or die relegation decider.
The Seagulls are quite literally flying at the moment and Paul Trollope must be very relieved that he has got back into the game somewhere where he can repair his reputation.
Tough game for us....cold Friday night 200 miles from home, crappy place to get to, with nothing expected at the end of it all.
Warnock has been talking about the lack of leaders on the pitch.....I can only think this is directed at Sean Morrison, as Gunnarsson is playing out of his socks at the moment. Bamba is back after suspension and I wonder whether we might see a back five again, with Connolly at RB, as Peltier is injured.
Without much confidence, I am calling this one 0 - 0 (potential )

Brighton is a horrible 200 mile drive at the best of times. Given the fog covering the south, it would have been a horrendous trip back last night

I still think City might get something from this, so stand by my original 0 - 0.
Some match facts from the BBC.......
Five of the last six league meetings between these two teams in Brighton have ended level, with Cardiff winning the other.
Cardiff haven't lost a league game away at Brighton since January 2002, when Bobby Zamora netted the winner for the Seagulls.
The Seagulls have lost just one of their last 20 league games, winning 15 and drawing four.
The Bluebirds have won their last three league games - they've not won four on the bounce since January 2013.
No side has kept more clean sheets than Brighton in the Championship this season (14, level with Derby).
Eight of Cardiff's last 11 league goals have come in the final 20 minutes of play. The other three have come in the opening 25.

Good effort, City well on top at times, but our finishing let us down. Zohore had a couple of chances to put City ahead. Got to start taking these.......
