**Official Match Day Thread - City v Blackburn**

City couldn't have wished for a more gentle schedule to start a season, but it's all a bit pear-shaped at the moment.

I wouldn't expect many changes, but I would like to see Morrison for Manga, just as a wake-up call.  Bruno was far too careless at the back end of last season and again in the first games here.

I am really hoping for a City win tonight, otherwise I think we ought to consider rebranding the messageboard to discuss something else altogether.............flower arranging perhaps?

First of about 30 must-win games this season. Defeat tonight and the natives really will grow restless.

As it is I think we'll get a nice, straight-forward 2-0 win.

Richards out injured but Pilks up front with Zohore and Gonads on the bench says it all about our strike force.

Would have preferred Immers up top. Pilkington IS NOT a striker. He got praise for his work there for the second half of last season but could only score once in final 12 games.


Cue a hat-trick tonight.
