POST BRIGHTON russell,s interview
come on russell, we need three points
This is the match postponed from last Saturday due to Blackburn rovers fa cup commitments and one that sees Kenwyne Jones wearing the number 9 shirt for Cardiff and maybe Rudy Gestede for Blackburn.
The forecast tomorrow is for a bright and sunny day, but starting to cloud over in the early evening, but that should put paid to any frost. at least I will not have to cover my tender plants.
the match will also see the emergence of our new head coach, Paul Trollope, a former fans favorite at the Memorial Ground.
Kenwyne is our top goal scorer and a powerful header of the ball, he also plays for the Trinidad and Tobago national team. KJ started his career as an utility player, but was converted to the role of striker by his first British club Southampton. he joined Sunderland for £6 million and signed for Stoke in 2010. He played in the 2011 cup final, but failed to hold down a place following the arrival of Peter Crouch. in January 2014 he joined Cardiff in a swap with peter Odemwingie.
Rudy Gestede was an under-used talent at Cardiff and is now blossoming at Blackburn. Rudy, born in France started his career at Metz. following a week long trial he joined us in 2011 and made his league debut against west ham, setting-up Kenny Miller. he also scored for us in the penalty shoot-out against Leicester city. he first joined Blackburn on loan in November 2013 and the loan was made permanent in the following transfer window.

Positive? That's me, so I'm going for 'The Bluebirds' 2-1. because we just don't keep clean sheets often enough and unlike others, after the adrenalin rush of Saturday, I think Blackburn will be drained. I hope so anyway.

Rudy seems to have put his injury problems behind him and and is blossoming into a fine all round front man at Blackburn. He is more mobile and better on the ground than he was given credit for by many City fans and I can see him giving Morrison all sorts of problems.
I am sure that Craig Conway will be up for it as well and it will be interesting to see if he goes up against Malone or Peltier.
Apart from those two and the chap who got 3 against Stoke, there is a certain Jordan Rhodes who has been quiet of late. He is due a big game.
City will do well to still be in the game at half time.

Rhodes was even dropped to the bench against Stoke. They made eight changes and still performed brilliantly, which probably suggests that they should be far higher than they currently are in the league table.

Whilst Blackburn have a not so good away form and we are poor all over.. it could result in a draw... but Rudy is scorning goals for fun... i still stick to my original score 4-1 blackburn...

Rudy Gestede has caused Jordan Rhodes to be benched. And we let him go. Just let that sink in.

Rudy has also been on the bench with Rhodes starting and other times they have started together. I think it is an indication of how rotation of a good squad players can work, when handled properly. That is what should have happened at City this season.
