Can you put up with Ian Holloway for ten consecutive evenings? If not, avoid Sky Football League coverage this week.
Tonight's offering is Blackburn v Forest, the full schedule as follows........
Fri 11: Wolves v N Forest (7.45pm)
Sat 12: MK Dons v Ipswich (12.30pm)
Sun 13: Sheff Utd v Coventry (noon)
Mon 14: Blackburn v N Forest (7.45pm)
Tues 15: QPR v Brighton (7.45pm)
Wed 16: Hull v Reading (7.45pm)
Thurs 17: Wolves v Leeds (7.45pm)
Fri 18: Birmingham v Cardiff (7.45pm)
Sat 19: Brighton v Boro (12.30pm)
Sun 20: Walsall v Port Vale (noon)
I know that football on Sky is an emotive issue, but this is compelling viewing for devoted fans of the almost (so far as the Championship is concerned) beautiful game and also a great chance to avoid I'm Strictly an X Factor Celebrity Get me out of Coronation Street etc...........

Blackburn v Forest last night 0 - 0 was pretty poor fare, but good to see that teams around us are also capable of serving up dross.
Felt sorry for Coventry on Sunday as they were by far the better side and Sheff Utd definitely benefited from a number of "home" refereeing decisions.
QPR v Brighton tonight could be lively. I quite fancy QPR to win, but I will be tuned to Player listening to City, with one eye on the tv.......

QPR v Brighton last night, 2 - 2, a much better effort.
This evening, Hull v Reading. A Reading win would be ideal, but a draw would also be a good result from City's point of view.

Reading unfortunate tonight. Leading for much of the game, but they lost Taylor, Ferdinand & Gunter to injury, ending up with 10 men and only one of the starting back four. Very late goal nicked the win for Hull.
That puts them in 4th spot, 8 points ahead of City. The top four are opening a gap on the rest.

Midtable mediocrity in a mediocre league for us then...
Although I have to say - i find it hard to imagine any of the teams in the championship this season surviving a premier a league campaign next year without significant investment.

Wolves v Leeds tonight. I might watch to see how Le Fondre & Adeyemi get on......a bit like the old show "Bullseye"............."this is what you could have won!"

Didn't see Adeyemi, as he had gone off after 30 mins. ALF on as sub in second half, but seemed even less effective than he has been at City.
Commentators saying that Wolves have to sell before they can buy new players, so it seems unlikely to me that ALF will end up there, unless we give him away.

He'd started ahead of Afobe for the past few games, so they seem resigned to selling the former. No big loss if he does leave.

Birmingham v City this evening............
Just hope that City aren't tempted to turn out in that atrocious yellow & black strip.

I'd like to know who picks these pundits. Holloway sounds a complete idiot as soon as he opens his mouth. Even a Brizzle City season ticket holder friend of mine thinks he's a complete embarrassment.
