Lesley ruled out with injury, Vaughan drafted in as replacement.
I reckon we will finish this off in style 4-1

I think when Wales failed to score in the opening 20 minutes, the writing was on the wall.
Nevertheless, a point more for the total and qualification is still in our own hands.

England beat Israel 3-0 the last time they visited us in 2007, and they didn't even get a shot on target. We were only 12th in the world rankings then too.
Far be it from me to doubt Wales 'top ten in the world and better than England' credentials though...

And very relevant as well. I'm stuck for a comeback until I go looking for how Wales were doing eight years ago
Or the comparative sizes of the population, wealth and grass roots football. Yes the Fifa rankings are an imperfect tool but they do give an indicator of a teams progress or decline over a two year period. Now stop fishing!
Despite the criticism that seems to have happened this morning, I still think it was a good performance. Full of heart and running and like Coleman said, a few more days rest and Wales would've won that game comfortably. Just needed that little bit of good fortune.

Hey, I've had enough stick over the last week - here, at work, taking my daughter to school even. I'm entitled to take jabs back when the opportunity arrives, surely?
