Okay, the football was better against QPR and the result acceptable, but the more I look at the players in our squad, I can't help but feel that they are still not being used effectively.

It seems to me that Slade is doing what Malky used to in setting his team up not to lose and anything else is a bonus. QPR were there for the taking. They may have good players, but their confidence is shot in much the same way as ours was after we got relegated.

I see that Nathan Blake has also picked up on this here......

Not a bad idea though to be fair TDA. It worked for Malky didn't it?

Utilitarian & hard to beat seems to be the way to go in the championship
