I'm not saying that, just that he's deluded even to come out with a comment like that.
Hope he proves me wrong, but I think it's going to be a long hard season with him in charge.

Agree it will be a long season if we start badly, I'm giving slade 10 games, before I start calling for his head,

I am not at all convinced by Russell Slade at this level......have I said that before?
Nevertheless, with Paul Trollope, he appears to be making progress. There has been no panic-buying this window, but he has been greatly boosted by the emergence of Joe Mason & Joe Ralls and the fit again Pilkington. Also, if he can stay fit, Dikgacoi could well solve a big problem in midfield.
The pre-season has been encouraging, but I think we will get a far better indication of whether things have improved by the end of August.
The squad Slade inherited always had the potential to be in the playoffs. It just needed the right coach to get the best out of it.
Peltier and Malone aside, the players signed by Slade in January look like they will be bench warmers this season.
