We are down to finish 12th at the moment, which appears to be pretty much spot on.

I'm not so sure. Derby had a pretty poor end to the season and whoever is left from Boro v Norwich is going to be thereabouts.
I think you would also have to fancy Hull or Newcastle to bounce straight back up, but QPR & Burnley are both shot to pieces.
