youth cup final tonight - Cardiff City v Swansea City B-FAW99883News1

Cardiff City and Swansea City meet each other at the Cardiff City Stadium in the Final of the FAW Youth Cup tonight at 7.00pm.

A mouthwatering FAW Youth Cup Final takes place this evening (Thursday, 30 April) at the Cardiff City Stadium, where rivals Cardiff City and Swansea City will battle it out for the trophy.

Swansea City will be fancying their chances as this will be their sixth consecutive appearance in the FAW Youth Cup Final and have lifted the trophy for the past five seasons.

This fact does not escape Swansea Coach Cameron Toshack, who told swanseacity.net: "When you are the holders of any trophy you want to defend it, and that is our motivation."

He added: "Everyone is excited, fit and ready for the final. We have had a very good season, the lads have trained well this week and the fact that there is silverware on offer adds extra spice."

Cardiff City will be hoping to end Swansea's dominance and Bluebirds youth coaches Matthew Bloxham and Jarred Harvey will have their team prepared for tonight's Final. The pair will hope to draw upon the character that their team showed in the Semi-Final win on penalties against Newport County.

Tickets for the match are available at the Cardiff City Stadium up until kick off and are priced £4 for adults and £1 for children and senior citizens.
