Sorry, but betting on your own team to get relegated is pretty damn disgraceful...

Don't agree, I've been betting a few years and one of my remits is to find value. If I wasn't a Cardiff fan this would be an amazing bet. The team appears to be in turmoil fans against the manager, questions about the latest signings, there has been a few teams in the past that have been relegated from the Premier league that have struggled in the Championship and I think a couple have been relegated. Tell me Red if you wasn't a Cardiff fan would you place this bet?

For me betting against your own team has seemed like a good way to ease the pain of losing, not wishful thinking or lack of support, just giving a cloud a silver lining.

No because I don't want to get sucked into gambling - but I can understand why someone would yes. But your own team? No way, it's a complete betrayal trying to make a financial gain on their misfortune. If I had ten pounds in relegation and stood to win 250 pounds then a part of me would WANT us to be relegated - I couldn't look at myself in the mirror.

Correct me if I am wrong, but aren't we now back in the same position as when RS took over, 17th.
I very much agree with Red on this one. Gamblers or not, putting money on your own team to get relegated comes over to me as being disgraceful. In this case it shouldn't be about making a quick buck but more about loyalty and support. (Now get down off the soap box ldb) coat

As Arkay says I'm also doing it to ease the pain, I really do hope they stay up. I don't want them to get relegated if my bet comes up it comes up, its not going to break the bookies my win and its not going to bankrupt me if they stay up, it's a series of small bets loose change in my pocket. Don't mean to offend anyone
