Every time I visit this site on my Android mobile I get constant full page pop ups telling me my phone has been infected with a virus. I press the back button rather than anything on the warning and I'll get about three more warnings before I'm automatically taken to the Play Store where some dodgy malware app is being pushed.
I've got decent security on the phone and scans show it's clear.
Rhys - is this some dodgy malware advert on this page that my fat finger has accidentally pressed?

Mmmh. .. How unusual. Sounds like malware.

Anyone else getting this? I'll look into it in the meantime!

Yes, I have encountered that maybe once or twice in the last six months but not to that degree.

There's your problem right there, the nastiest virus of them all that peacocks around pretending to be a virus control Virus Warning 692773407

Nothing pops up on my desktop when I access the site, and I have virus control + a malware shield.

I had Norton but now have Avast as it seems to be better on Android.
Having researched this, the problem seems to be something called DU Speed booster which appears to be genuine but is summed up as -
Du Speed Booster is a program considered to be adware that may load on a system and then display random advertisements that look to be made for a mobile device. The Du Speed Booster ads are know for being loaded on Android mobile devices but have since made their way onto other systems to load when using various web browsers, including google chrome, internet explorer and firefox. Use of the Du Speed Booster services may end up redirecting your system to other sites or pages that have other offers of products and services over the internet. Additionally, some of those sites may have questionable content and can lead to the installation of unwanted files or programs. It is best that the Du Speed Booster program be removed through use of an antispyware application.
Trouble is when you look up how to remove it, It's difficult to tell which of the removal sites are dodgy or not.
I've scanned with Avast and Malwarebytes but they say there's nothing there.

Avast is what I use - if all you are interested in is virus prevention then it's the best, the free version has better detection rates than any paid program.

I don't have an android so I'm not the best to ask, but try plugging the phone into a desktop/laptop running the antivirus programs. If the computer recognises it as a storage device it should be able to scan it and pick up any threats to the PC. I'm going to go ahead and presume that the mobile versions have different databases, and the deakrop one will be slightly more robust.
