3games? 5games? The end of season?
For me personally... he should go, Can't see him bringing quality in transfer window, I may be wrong but who's gonna want to join a circus of a club? (You could argue, anyone below championship will join regardless, but then that type of player aren't going to be that great right? Or they would already be in championship or higher right? )

i certainly think he has the rest of the season. he has to bring in new guys and bed them in and that takes time.
lets not get carried away. we are not a premier league team anymore and look at what has happened to some relegated sides.

I think he will get the rest of the season, unless we really bomb.
Given that it is too late for the Jan window to get someone else in (and who in his right mind would take the job anyway), Slade will have a chance to prove his doubters wrong, or otherwise.

I gave him until about a week ago, so my mind is already made up.
Tans going to give him the season though so we'll see what happens - struggling to really care that much where we finish anyway.

I'm sure that's not completely true. I think we are resigned to Champ football next season, but it would be heartbreaking to get relegated again.

I got lost around there one day and stopped to ask directions outside the ground. Not the most salubrious of places, but better than Millwall and very helpful locals.

I don't think we are going to get relegated - there are definetely three teams that are much, much worse than ourselves. Beyond that, I don't really care if we finish 21st or 7th. I should, but everything going on has really just sapped my motivation for anything but writing this season off.

I know it seems like an obvious answer to give, but better teams than us have gone down. Wolves were the most recent, and I believe they were pretty much in an identical position to the one we are in right now in terms of points at this stage.
I think Slade should be given another 12 months - two transfer windows - unless we fail to show absolutely any signs of improvement between now and the summer.

i suspect that we will probably end up mid-table, but have no intention of writing the season the season off.............just yetRed614 wrote:I don't think we are going to get relegated - there are definetely three teams that are much, much worse than ourselves. I've been underwhelmed by some of his decisions so far but the more I think about it, it would be pointless getting rid of him at the start of a transfer window and he should probably be given until the end of the season to be judged properly. However, I think replacing some of the coaches that he's stuck with would be a positive move.

I'd put Gary Rowett up as a candidate if we do ever ditch him. The man has genuinely pulled a bible-esque miracle making the shambles that is Birmingham City look like a mid table championship team. He's clearly an excellent man manager too - whatever he said to the squad at half time today ensured a completely different team turned up in the second half.

I rate Nigel Adkins, who is available at the moment. He laid the foundations at Southampton, which was a basket case of a club when he arrived.

My worry is that clubs below Cardiff will either sign well or get a new manager. Was speaking about Cardiff to a guy in work and he said straight away, Cardiff will be safe. His only concern was the transfer window coming up. Just don't see any "major" signings coming to Cardiff for Cardiff to pull away

Although, admittedly, he struggled at Reading.
