The man behind the red leak, a.k.a Harry Truscott will be very happy, he's buying a season ricket to watch them and ditching Cardiff City. You couldn't make it up!

It stated on SSN that Newcastle were considering an appeal against the decision. For God sake they finished bottom of the Premiership!

I wouldn't have the balls to appeal finishing last. Have they no shame? They played a whole season and came last they should be expecting nothing less that relegation.

On the grounds that their ground is far too good for the lower leagues?

At last some sense prevails and the sporting ideals of rewarding endeavour, skill and victory are winning rather than paying lawyers vast amounts of money to decide who wins

Not so good news is that they're playing home games in Oxford next season, around 60 miles from their usual ground in Richmond.

I have zero interest in Rugby, but if Newcastle finished bottom what the hell can they appeal against?
