Don't know if I'm treading on anyone's toes by starting this thread. I will take responsibility if Wales loose as I'm having my first bet on Wales in a long time. Backed Wales to win 2-1 and Bale to score first goal

Am I right in saying this is probably one of Wales' biggest matches in recent history, purely because of what it means for their qualification chances?

Normally, Wales wouldn't be expected to get anything from this game, but there is a renewed sense of optimism. Certainly the 1 - 1 draw there last year was well deserved and with a fully fit squad, Wales are stronger than they have been in living memory......perhaps you have to back to the 1950's Allchurch - Charles era to find a compatible team.

I watched Belgium v Iceland online last week and, although they won 3 - 1, Belgium huffed and puffed a bit and Iceland did themselves no favours defensively in the second half.

The pressure is more on Belgium to win this game, but if Wales can get amongst them, as did Iceland when Gunnarsson was still on the pitch, then there might be something in this for them.

A point would be a great result in all honesty.

Belgium V's Wales 635981802 , but not unrealistic..............there have been some unexpected results these past few days, even Germany at home only putting four on Gibraltar.

I think Ben Davies or Dummett are better left backs than Taylor.

Good effort by Wales in the end. Most teams wouldn't come away with a point.

Don't underestimate how good a point that was - most top level teams would be pleased!

Rode our luck at times but thoroughly deserved something with the effort, commitment and even looked half threatening on the counter.

Very pleasing. Belgium V's Wales 1525230823

As an England fan, I'd of bitten your hand off if we had that instead.

You could make a big case that Wales were the better team for parts of the second half. Gareth Bale is something special too, although he was outshone by Hazard who just seemed utterly unplayable the entire match.

As a alternative kit, absolutely. Ghastly. I've never liked City wearing one (which thankfully they haven't recently, but that's another matter Belgium V's Wales 692773407) and now it seems to be double-downing on my annoyance that Wales have one too.

Another great trip and a welcome point to take back home, too. Bring on Israel!
