Looks like Daelhi is on his way out?

What does everyone feel about this? Part me of thinks its a silly decision but most of me is not that bothered.
I find myself disagreeing with those who rate him PL quality - potentially in the future. Ultimately, he is too light-weight for this division.

The Club have said it's a load of bollocks (in as many words) and that they have no intention of selling him on January.
Well Slade said so himself in the press conference today - I think WO have printed a manuscript of it... Unless he has been seriously misquoted I think he is most likely to be gone come January, loan or otherwise

That's not the way I read it.
Daehli has a persistent hip injury that has affected his fitness and Slade won't consider/risk him until he is fully fit. On the other hand, it looks like Eikreim will be gone either on loan or sold in January and Guerra hasn't shown enough in training or development games to be part of Slade's plans.
No doubt, Daehli is the jewel in the crown of Ole's purchases and he won't be offloaded unless there is serious money on the table. It doesn't look so good, however, for Guerra, Eikreim, Burgstaller and Cala.
My feeling, as I have said, before, is that Slade is generally happier working with players with less of a "Latin temperament".

It appears that he's not happy but he also has a hip problem that is bothering him. However, Slade has admitted that Eikrem & Guerra are not in his plans. No mention of Burgerstall.

Few more tidbits emerging which support the contention that Daehli is expecting to have been more involved than he has been and is not a happy bunny.
Could it be that we are seeing some Malky-style b*ll*cks from Slade regarding the hip problem..............remember the "we have to beef-up Velcro for the English game"?

Yes, hearing the same things.
While I always think it's bad when a player speaks out of turn and is usually the beginning of the end (not to say unprofessional), he is young and I do feel bad for him. He still has a lot to learn but he has been at least one of the few consistent performers for us over the last 12 months. He's one who'd be well worth investing the time, care and coaching in for the future.
Letting him go now just sends out the wrong message to me that the club are not willing to nurture talent.

I'm surprised he and some of the other fringe players haven't had run outs and been looked at in Devpt Squad games recently. They had a good 3-2 win at Charlton after being two down last night but the only over age player involved was Velikonja.
