Sheffield don't appear to be giving up on this one but I can't see it happening and I think Clough's comments are a cheek -

I think Brayford will be our first choice right back. Even if he isn't, we'd still need him as a backup, I can't see him going anywhere.

I hate it when clubs resort to openly discussing transfer moves for players. Very low. Can't see it happening anyway

Looks like Brayford is going to be first choice this season, looking at the squad numbers today, so Cloughy is very unlikely to get him back.
