It's a question of balance and I suppose that managers have their particular areas of expertise.  However, they should be able to assemble a coaching staff that will compliment those strengths.

You could say that, in class, City were a clear division lower than any one else in the PL last season, but that didn't stop us scaring teams in the early part of games.  However, spirit isn't everything and all too often, we were reeled in and then hammered by superior forces.  

I think that is pretty much what happened at Yeovil yesterday, but the boot is on the other foot now and, this season, we ought to be handing out the hammerings, not receiving them.

What I can gather from this conversation is that we need a midfielder as a manager
