This worked well in the World Cup, so why not try an all-things-pre-season in a single thread. To start off, I reckon that, following the games so far, Ole's ideal starting team might well look something like this.....
Marshall
Brayford Hudson Turner Fabio
Daelhi Digkacoi Whitts Burgstaller
Le Fondre Macheda

Seems to be the one position where we have had an embarrassment of riches in the past couple of seasons. Ole obviously likes Moore and Lewis looks the part. Given those two, I would not have been too bothered if we had lost Marshall this summer.
Of course, Tom Heaton, a previous number 2 keeper, has also gone on to be the firmly established number one he deserved to be and back in the PL.

Two decent looking teams there TDA. That is without finding a place in either of them for Moore, Kiss, Mason, Kim, Ralls, Harris, Jones or ..... er...... hmmm.... or Velikonja.
Can see a few more departures if things work out whether permanently or on loan. Things could get trickier again to predict the matchday squad if we actually add another few players before the end of the transfer window too.

Yes, it looks like Jones is part of the plan after the Yeovil game and I guess Kim will be too. I can see Mason going out again......the most "Solskjaer-like" striker we have, but just a yard short on pace, which is a real shame.
He's had a look at Kiss & Ralls, but maybe the starting line-up for the Wolfburg game will give us a few clues.

I'm going to watch the Chasetown game at the stadium tonight. It will be interesting to see if there are any first team 'discards' playing who will be unlikely to get much more game time after tonight.

I tried to watch the You Tube feed, but our connection is not good. I don't think there were any squad players on show, so no clues there...............

Maybe not. Apparently, Lewis was excused the Yeovil game as his wife was expecting a baby imminently. Still Yeovil was a good run out for Moore, who looked pretty secure.

Ah, that explains it. I'm surprised Lewis is still here mind; good enough to start at this level, yet his career is rotting away on the bench!
