Agent Jim on twitter reckons that Sheffield United have made an offer for Brayford and that he would like the move.

Maybe he has got the nod that he won't be the first choice RB after all. Can't see us getting our money back on him though.....maybe a long loan?

THE FORGOTTEN PLAYER IS BACK WITH CARDIFF CITY '
Cardiff City full-back John Brayford to be given chance to end Bluebirds nightmare
Wednesday Jun 25, 2014
By Terry Phillips
Brayford became something of an outcast at Cardiff City under Malky Mackay following his £1.5m move to the Welsh capital in 2013
John Brayford will be given the chance to end his Cardiff City nightmare when he returns for the start of pre-season training next week.
Right-back Brayford was left devastated when former Bluebirds boss Malky Mackay splashed out £1.5m to sign him from Derby County - and then ignored him when it came to Premier League football.
Matt Connolly was preferred on the right of City’s defence for the first three League matches last season, and then Mackay signed French defender Kevin Theophile to fill that role, restricting Brayford to just a couple of League Cup appearances.
Brayford suffered again following Mackay’s departure when he was overlooked by caretaker-manager David Kerslake, who recalled Kevin McNaughton from Bolton Wanderers and started the Scottish international against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on New Year’s Day.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer watched that match and, with McNaughton back in City’s squad, he left Brayford to complete an impressive League One season with Sheffield United.
Now, though, Brayford has the chance to relaunch his Bluebirds career when he reports back for pre-season training at the Vale of Glamorgan Resort next week.
Solskjaer, preparing for his first full season in charge, has pledged every player will be given the chance to impress and Brayford could well be one of the leading contenders for the right-back slot.
