Spritz App - How fast can you read?

I think most people can read quite quickly but it is about comprehension and what you actually absorb. I find the quicker I read the less I remember afterwards.

I'd challenge anyone to try and read Game of Thrones, Lord of the Rings etc at 1000 words a minute and ACTUALLY understand it. Likewise with the work in any decent scientific journal.
Roman Numerals are also little more than a way of people utilising a system that is mostly irrelevant in an attempt to show off. Being able to count to 100 in a number system that predates the times of Jesus is pretty insignificant compared to knowing how to treat an antifreeze overdose or detection of the early signs of necrotising fasciitis, I'd say
PS. It's LXXVI
