I would just like to say that Daehli did an amazing job today when Norway drew 2-2 against the Czech republic.
His first half was brilliant, with both dribbling and passes upront with clinical precision
Also in the second half, though the game lost a bit of the total quality....
He played so well that Norway for the first time in many many years actually played a good offensive game.
He made the game fun to watch
Without some rusty defencive play, Norway should have won 2-1, maybe 3-1...
Dahlie has been doing a good job at Cardiff aswell, but if he can continue like this,
it looks more promising for the remaining PL games.
When Norway manages to score two goals in a match, Cardiff most certainly should also!
But I know it`s a tougher level in the PL, but I'm keeping the faith.

I'm reading now that when Dahlie and Januzaj played together at the United academy in 2012, Daehli got the player of the year award

Here is the most of Dahlies involvment in the game.
They could have narrowed it down to the most exiting stuff, but here you go:

Berget also scored twice for Norway U23's last night.

That's right.
Two typical "on top striker goals". On both he received a pass trough the defence, he made one touch towards goal and good placement shot beside the keeper. Showed good striker quality on those two.

Dahlie's impressive passing abilities:
He has so far played 112 minutes for Cardiff. He has managed to send 63 passes where 58 of them hit the target. That gives him a fantastic 92,06% passing accuracy
That gives him a 6th place so far in the PL stats.
And in his last season for Molde he had just about 90% in total.
I find that theese numbers are very impressive.
He's only 19!

I would challenge that averaging only a pass every two minutes doesn't really give enough evidence of his passing abilities, but I think that's more the fault of our current predicament rather than the player. I doubt Xavi would manage many passes in our midfield right now.
He's obviously a brilliant player that has room to grow, I just worry whether a relegation battle is really the place to throw him in.

I understand what you mean, but I also disagree.
(He also had 30 of 35 successful involments with the ball against Czech.)
I find that a lot of the Cardiff players are quite slobby when passing (not that Dahlie is perfect..).
Almost every pass Dahlie makes goes forward. So if the forward players can do a good job finding some space up front, they should able to get some good breakthrough balls. It's extremely important to have a midfielder with passing accuracy.
Too bad he is not the best shooter, not enough power behind the shot.
But that also concerns many other players in the team.
He's "lightweigt" yeah, but but you've got some pretty hardworking players (Medel, Mutch...) who can take care of the tougher batteling on the midfield.
