Well, this is frustrating, Cardiff City player banging two in.

Not for us though.
I'm really starting to lose faith. the performance last night was encouraging, but its getting late in the season. This is such a crucial month. Someone give me something positive.

Well beside the fact that we are not relagated yet, the positive to take is we should do exceedingly well in the championship!!!
It was an encouraging performance but I really do get concerned when we don't score in such games, don't score! can't win!
Of course, beat Hull and we would take 7 points during Febuary, not terrible

A part of me is accepting that championship football next season is okay, As long as Solskjaer is still manager.
If Tan panics and sacks him (I doubt it, but he's unpredictable), then we could be in dire straits. If he stays and is suitably backed in the window, I feel we can push on from the setback. He can build the squad his way and if he can start fixing the major weaknesses -
- Replace Turner (Unless Cala works out)
-Give John and Fabio time to assess their abilities, and replace them if they aren't going to cut it just yet
- Bring in a true target man. Jones is a panic buy that will hopefully get us over the line but we desperately need a proper goal scorer. Alternatively I think Healey is more than ready for a chance in the championship, give him a go.

QPR, WIgan and Bolton havnt exactly set the league on fire. Wonder who in the team has relegation release clauses?
Medal, Caulker?
Marshalls performances this season make him look attractive to mid table prem teams.

I would expect Mutch & Noone to be targets for PL clubs as well if we go down.

Fair comment, but I find it hard to believe when Ole came on board the real possibilty of relagation wasn't discussed.
Plan for the worst and hope for the best would have been the order of the day.
Considering his supposed budgetOle hasn't exactly gone gung-ho, and that would suggest to me that the championship and a swift return would have been in mind.
We don't have to sell providing Tan sticks with us, and I think he will, so it will depend on who has a clause.
Unlikely anyone Ole has brought in will have, but god knows what malky offered.

Yes I do think that OGS' targets, which were big name loan signings such as Fabio Quagliarella, showed that the club didn't want to pay a fortune in wages to a guy on a 4 year contract as we may well not survive. The Norwegians would do well in the Championship as the quality is reduced and they are technically gifted and I'm sure Javi Guerra would be a prolific Championship striker, signed on a free making him good planning for potential relegation
