after the Norwich match, Vincent tan said to reporters that Solskjaer 'is much better than Malky MacKay'.
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/cardiff-city/10613141/Cardiff-City-manager-Ole-Gunnar-Solskjaer-is-better-than-Malky-Mackay-says-owner-Vincent-Tan.html
Really? This isn't the beginning of an argument about who's better, it's stating that I think if the quote is true, it's a disgusting thing to say. For a man that brought so much success, he deserves better than bitchy remarks like that when he's already long gone.

I still don't care, all I'm interested is survival rather than the media trying to make headlines

So if he said exactly that, word for word, you don't care? You don't think it's out of order to continue kicking a dog when he's down?

It's not exactly media savvy but my concern, after all that's happened this season, is that we survive then start again next season and learn from it all.

The problem between Tan & Malky existed for much longer than is appreciated and they really don't like each other. So long as this has no effect on the performance of the team under OGS, then I couldn't care less.

I wont be forgetting, and I think any fan that really cares about the club wouldnt forget either. A bad first premier league season shouldn't dispel the stellar work before. We were saying something about short memories regarding Whittingham yesterday, could also be applied here...

I don't think anyone disputes the good work Malky undertook whilst manager and also the performances that Whitts has put in for City before this season. But neither has fired on all cylinders in the Prem. I agree it isn't very corporate to air your dirty linen publicly but that is a matter for Tan and Malky to resolve. I'm simply a fan and as such my concern is the performances on the pitch, not a former manager and the chairman not being friends

It certainly has become a talking point, whilst I can see both sides, I literally gone past caring. im more interested in staying up and on field issues as apposed to off field issues

Previously when Tan was asked for his views he said "No comment" and was pilloried.
Earlier this season a fan said to him "We'll always be blue" and he said "We'll always be red" and was pilloried.
Now he's asked about Solskjaer and says he prefers him to Malky and he's pilloried.
They're comments not to be taken seriously and it's time the Malky love-in draws to a close and we moved on.
Malky was a decent bloke who had an excellent first season. After that I think a lot of managers could have done what he did with the money he had to spend (and didn't spend wisely on occasions).

so it is disgraceful for vinnie tan to be ctitical of a sacked manager, but it is fine for the supporters trust to place the same sacked manager on a pedestal?
