If he turns out to be a star for us, then I can't see Man Utd being willing to sell. It will all come down to how much he wants first team football, whether we are still in the top flight and what his prospects are at Man Utd.

If we stay up, I wouldn't see money being a barrier to a transfer to us, if that is what everyone wanted.

It depends on Man Uniteds fortunes I reckon. If they get 4th place the they can have a major rebuild and strengthen all over the pitch. If they crash out or Europe they are going to struggle to bring in quality faces, and may have to take a second look at people like Zaha.

The odds seem good though. For whatever reason it's clear Moyes doesn't like Zaha and he already has Mata and Valencia battling for his spot on the pitch, and he doesn't size up.

My understanding was that we have first refusal and that Moyes doesn't like Zaha's personality. I think Zaha would stay but his performances are going to be pretty good and could prompt Moyes to give him another chance

If he becomes the new Cristiano Ronaldo we might have a tough time holding onto him... Do We Get First Refusal On Zaha 692773407

There will have to be a clear benefit for Zaha's career for him to want to stay with us.

First team football at the moment is an improvement over his situation at Man Utd, but he is going to want better than that in the longer term.

Staving off relegation by the skin of our teeth may not be enough to hold onto him, as there will be plenty of more successful clubs sniffing around at the end of the season.

Well I think the OGS-Man Utd link would work in our favour and playing regularly in a team that may spend some money in the summer is a reasonable incentive for a guy who is only 19...of course that's only if we stay up

It is possible that with a good half season with us, Zaha could make the England World Cup squad. Hell of an incentive for him to do well and it would open up all sorts of possibilites for him for the future.

Moyes will be gone soon enough and Zaha will get his chance at United.

If so, I hope the price has been agreed and set into the contract. His value can only go up while he's here I reckon.

Provided we are still in the PL next season, there will be plenty of good players out there who will want to play for OGS at Cardiff.

The Zaha love-in could be in danger of becoming today's "Bellamy is coming", so let's enjoy him whilst he is a City player.

He could be the difference between the success and failure of our season, but, also, he has a lot to prove to people (Man Utd especially), so I don't expect any lack of effort from him.........
