If we are to believe the Dutch and Norwegian press then Magnus Wolff Eikren and Mats Moeller Daehli are expected to sign for City in the next few days. So how many players do you see OGS signing in the current transfer window?
I reckon he will certainly sign a left-back and a centre half. Turner, in particular is not the type of defender which OGS favours. He will, in my opinion, look for a centre back who is comfortable with the ball.
I can also see him bringing in a striker. So what do you think?

Agree with this, John has been very impressive since replacing Taylor.

The press reckon he wants five, so on top of those two I would add

- A striker
- A centreback
- A winger

Maybe another holding midfielder, depending on OGS opinion of Gunnarrson. Another goalkeeper wouldn't go amiss either - Marshall has virtually no competition right now.

I agree, but we can't expect an 18 year old to maintain this standard of play for the remaining games of the season. Taylor, in my opinion, is not a Premier League player and opposition managers are beginning to target him as the weak link in our defence. re: Southampton. We therefore need another left-back to provide competition for John.

Luke Shaw is only 18 yet he's Southampton's first choice left back, 18 year old Januzaj is doing just fine too. Mental age is relative to the inidividual, and Johns not done anything to prove he's not ready yet.

I agree a left back is in our list of needed players, but I could name 6 positions that need a new face more.

Well to two coming in tomorrow both play in the middle as I understand it ( which is interesting as I view that area as our strongest area - medal, mutch, kim and Whitts)

So in which case, the other 3 or 4 will have to be two wide men, a defender and a forward?

left-back- back-up for john
centre-half to replace turner
centre mid-field to replace whitts
winger to replace odemwingie
we got a load of strikers, so i think we would look to off-load a couple before any are bought in
we have a load too many, not up to standard bench players. that has to be addressed
