I've got to be honest, one of the fundamental problems of England's play right now is their inability to hold the ball. Turner, who's immediate response to getting the ball at his feet is to hoof it as far down the pitch as possible, certainly wouldn't help anything.

As a Cardiff fan, I'm happy for him. As an England fan id like to see his attitude to possession change before I'd want to see him in our back four.

The reality is Red - it is highly likely that Ben Turner is just following tactical instructions - pro players don't just play how they like anymore, there are strict instructions they have to follow and for Ben it's probably either pass short to medal or boot the ball up field if he's not open.

I'm pretty sure Malky is to blame for his long ball antics. Ben just needs to work a little more an accuracy (or we need Cornelius on the pitch)
