Unfortunately Rhys, someone nicked your idea - and it's brilliant.

I've literally, literally lost days on it. Gives you a whole new perspective on a chairmans role, when fans are demanding your resignation because you refused to spend 2 million pounds (in league 1) on a 32 year old striker when the club is already in a million pounds worth of debt because no ones turning up to the matches.

It's only in its 'lite' version at the moment as I said, there's currently no cup tournaments and you have no control over your clubs sponsors, advertising, etc. the plus side is however its completely free on all devices.

Ooohhh...

There goes many hours of hard work. I'll download it and give it a try. I knew it was a good idea!

And to make it Cardiff related - my created club were promoted to the championship in 2048. Five years later Cardiff are relegated back to the championship. Therefore we should all take it easy, we have a good 40 years of premiership football to look forward to

I deleted it from my phone earlier because I was getting obsessed with it. I was doing a season in about 10 minutes. Couldn't leave it alone so I'm going cold turkey.

You still could if you make it less difficult. I have also gone on hiatus with it, after investing the best part of ten million in a squad that were already top 5 championship quality, my manager led my team to... 9th. Sacked him right after the final game, hired a new manager with great stats but on a massive wage. Another five million invested, and all it earns me is 8th. Attendances have plummeted, I'm haemorrhaging money every match and my manager is now threatening to walk because in refuse to invest any more money in a squad that's already 20 million pounds more expensive than any other team in the league.

But to be fair, red, quite realistic. I'm thinking of Leicester and Blackburn in particular

true football 2 is a great alternative
