Here's a mildly interesting post match topic, what things which are probably minor to most people really wind you up whenever you attend a football match?

Ill start with two -

- People that leave early, only to then stand on the stairs and COMPLETELY block my view

-people that yell abuse at the referee/officials even when it is obvious they made the right call - ie calling Bellamy offside when there's half a city between him and the last man

Both of those things, definitely. I never get the leaving early thing. Especially when you consider how much games cost these days and that drama can so often happen in the last 2-3 minutes (Man City v QPR, Man Utd v Bayern, Man Utd v Anybody who they're losing to when Howard Webb is reffing...etc etc)

I'm probably not going to be all that popular here but I hate, Hate, HATE all the Swansea/anti-Jacks songs. I'd much rather people sang about City or the team they're actually playing at the time. I find it really juvenile in all honesty.

This infuriates me so much that everything else just pales into insignificance.

There's a guy who sits behind me and he constantly shouts s**t. He calls players by the wrong names, has a go at the ref and linesmen for giving anything against us, he'll praise a pass as the ball is sailing out of play.... He's a right knob.

Football pet peeves? 692773407 Football pet peeves? 692773407

There were two guys in the away end at Charlton last season like that. They turned up twenty minutes into the game absolutely steaming and swaying all over the place. Then kept asking me and mate what had happened and what was currently happening. It might've been quite funny had they not then spent the remainder of the half abusing anything and everything in loud, obnoxious drunken voices Football pet peeves? 2854552383 I was going to bite my tongue and bear it out thinking "ah, that's just football fans" until I was delighted to hear my friend surreptitiously ask at half time "shall we move away from these two dicks?"
