Malky confirms Cornelius suffered an ankle strain in the first-half and needs a scan. Just precautionary, likely to miss clash v Everton.

With 2 weeks before the next game after the Everton match anyway he may be back in contention for Hull away or if not Spurs home.
Gestede onto the bench for Saturday then as a reward for his performance tonight.

Gloves, you were there, how bad did it look? I was out that night so only had the twitter commentary but they said he seemed to fall quite nastily.
James Beattie put his side out to muscle us out of the game from what I heard, Noone got a battering too. It's definetely made me look differently at one of my favourite lower leave FM players, Beattie was always one of my first signings when starting down in the blue square

Malky has a habit of understating injuries, so if this is the same ankle as pre-season, then he may be out some time....Red614 wrote:Gloves, you were there, how bad did it look? I was out that night so only had the twitter commentary but they said he seemed to fall quite nastily.

Didn't look a particularly bad landing, but you could tell by his reaction that it certainly wasn't just "precautionary". As mentioned already though, thankfully a two week break after Everton so he should be back for that!Red614 wrote:Gloves, you were there, how bad did it look?
