Another Gold Plated Cock Up?

After missing out on Man City tickets because they started selling them before gold memberships had been sent out (I was not aware that they could be purchased by quoting a membership number), I kept an eye out for when Everton tickets were going on sale and saw the announcement that it would be next Monday.
Out of curiosity I looked online yesterday and there was hardly a ticket left and a seat couldn't be booked, simply a pot luck 'best available'. Later in the day, they were all sold out again.
With gold memberships still not having been sent out, wtf is going on?

You know something ? Sometimes you have to ask questions. When they told me the cards wouldn't go out until August it was obvious that other methods had to exist. I asked the question and sure enough I was able to buy tickets on the allotted dates?
