26 players in the 25 man squad

With the signing of Caulker today we know have 26 players 21 and over for our 25 man squad. If he had been born 3 days later he would have counted as an under 21 but i also feel that Spurs might have then been less keen to let him go.

Velcro is the obvious first choice to me to miss out.

I see no point in Gestede taking up a place in the squad rather than go out on loan,

Although doubling up on every position is normally enough (2 right backs , 2 left wingers, 4 center halfs etc) i believe the forward position is one where you need extra options. At the moment i would keep Gestede in the squad and only replace him if we brought in another (tall target man style) striker to take his place in the squad.

Agree in principle but he even looked poor in the Devpt side at Barry last Saturday.

What's the exact list you're working from Toastie? Does it include a certain Slovakian headcase?

I just think it might be time to FIST Kiss and not in the way Slumdog's Son expected...  

Well the 26 players 21 or over by my reckoning are:

GK - Marshall, Lewis, Moore
DR - Connolly, Brayford, McNaughton
DL - Taylor, Lappin
DC - Hudson, Caulker, Turner
MR/ ML - Bellamy, Conway, Smith, Noone (They switch wings and play on the wrong side so often i have no idea how to class them!)
MC - Gunnarsson, Kim, Mutch, Whittingham, Cowie, Kiss
FWD - Maynard, Campbell, Gestede, Mason, Velinonja

So yes Kiss is on the list but i reckon Velcro is first in line - There are other vulnerable names there if we add more to the squad for certain. Of course we could not name 25 or include under 21 players in the 25 man squad (which we will almost certainly do in the case of Cornelius)

Kiss and Velcro are gone I think. Kiss hasn't developed as expected and either Velcro's confidence is shot or he can't be arsed
