The 'it's only preseason' excuse can only get us so far. The result is irrelevant yes, but what's very much relevant is that we are leaking goals faster than a jack can hitch a caravan.
I said earlier that Brentford would be sharp, but for a team that are supposedly premiership quality to leak a 2-0 lead so easily against league 1 quality opposition is not acceptable. Malky needs to have words, or stick a rocket up his backside in bringing in our new signings.

Well we know it's pre-season and we are going to bring in more quality so I'm not worried yet

This is essentially the same defence that had so many clean sheets last season. I've said it many times, but I felt the overall quality of the Chamionship 2012/13 was poor............and it's going to come home to roost.....

Decent run-out, some positives, some negatives.
Certainly played our best football in the first half, then took our foot off the gas. Expect to see a more complete performance on Saturday with less changes being made.
What I will say, and this is something we already knew, Kim is going to be a superstar in the next few years. Incredible talent.
