At the bottom of this article regarding the ongoing Wanyama saga it is suggested that a friendly against Real Sociedad in early August is all but certain.

Let's hope a number of these rumoured important signings are in place by then with the league action starting a couple of weeks later.

Real Sociedad are a decent team and have qualified for next season's Champions League.
I might break my personal embargo on watching friendly matches if this does happen.

Shame it's not away; the town of San Sebastian is a cracking place.
