Rebranding the rebrand classic

Tan is a god getting all them clowns in the annis board to want the original red top and black shorts they all didn't want last season & making them think its there idea I'm really starting to like that guys style.

I just voted for the white shorts :bounce:

Not true. Exposure in a freezing temperatures and outside Primary Schools is very bad. Trust me.

To be honest, there's a possibility it was planned all along. The club reacting so fast did seen a little odd, and has gloves has said he now suddenly has people BEGING for a red and black kit.

Tan has gained -
- Accidental support for the red kit
- Fan popularity by giving them a voice
- Massive media publicity

The more I think about it, particularly the fact it took less than 24 hours to change their mind (Everton took much longer despite having thousands more signatures), the more I wonder.

Unless the white trim on the shirt and socks is changed, the black shorts will look daft mun.

Maybe gster, but from a distance the red and black still looks, to my eye anyway, quite a strong and intimidating combination.

the reason i am opposed to a ballot is that conceeding on this issue would mean that the pro blue faction may think that with a bit more turmoil vinnie will fcuk off and peace will be restored.
somebody should have had a bit more common sense when it came to the design, whoever approved same should have had a monumental kick up the ass

You're right Dave - the club could have completely avoided this mess by getting the kit right in the first place.


Unless, as red614 points out, this was all part of a big 'new coke' conspiracy anyway
